Albert’s dream princess party for his daughter Trixie turns into a nightmare when the hired entertainer turns out to be a drag queen. Plunged into a feverish hallucination, he’s haunted by Larry the Dragdemon, a leotard-and-tutu-wearing jester who drags him through a paranoid world of sinister rainbows and the dreaded “Gay Agenda.”
Straight Forward is a social satire that playfully takes on homophobia. Its absurdity and comedic exaggeration invite audiences to take this saturated social discussion with a grain of salt, highlighting how a little discomfort can make the world a far more colorful place.
